Notes on Sarawak Investment and Business Summit 2017

Chief Executive Officer of Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA), Tan Sri Datuk Amar Wilson Baya Dandot participated in the 4th Sarawak Investment and Business Summit 2017, held at Hilton Hotel, Kuching, organised by Asian Strategic & Leadership Institute (ASLI).

In the event, CEO, RECODA was appointed as a moderator for Session 4 entitled “Extracting Synergies from the Dual Strategy of Harnessing Renewable Energy and Digitisation through SCORE”.

Courtesy Call on Deputy Chief Minister, YB Amar Douglas Unggah by Business Delegation comprising the Wee Boon Ping Group and Sunsurai – Citic Group at the Minister’s Office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia, Kuching.

Also present was RECODA Chief Executive Officer, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Wilson Baya Dandot and its Senior Officers.

The delegates comprise of Dato Goh Leng Chua, the leader of the Delegates; Tan Sri Datuk Ter Leong Yap, Executive Chairman of Sunsuria Berhad and Mr Alexon Khor Swek Chen; Datuk Wee Kok Tiong of the Wee Boon Ping Group together with Mr Yeo Hock Hian, Mr Fan Xing and Mr Goh Yong Tat; Dato’ Tan Tian Meng, Chief Executive Officer of CITIC Sunsuria Sdn Bhd together with Mr Huo Jiajie, Mr Liu Feng and Ms Yan Yan.

Courtesy Visit by SME Bank Chairman, Board Members and Senior Management

Courtesy Call by the Chairman of SME Bank Group, YBhg. Tan Sri Faizah Tahir to Chief Executive Officer of RECODA, YBhg. Tan Sri Datuk Amar Wilson Baya Dandot, at RECODA Office at Old State Legislatives Assembly Building, Petra Jaya, Kuching on 29thSeptember 2017.  Also present were the Board Members, Directors and Senior Managers of SME Bank and Senior Officers from RECODA.

The visit by SME Bank was the first since the appointment of their new chairman. The purpose of the visit is to build rapport/networking with government agencies in Sarawak.

RECODA’s Chief Executive Officer, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Wilson Baya Dandot briefed the delegation on the progress of SCORE and updated them on the projects progress that are currently being undertaken by RECODA.
