SCORE a key exhibit at Sarawak Pavilion during WIEF 2017

KUCHING, 21-23 November 2017 – The Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE) was a key exhibit at the Sarawak Pavilion during the World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) 2017.

The exhibit proved to be a great attention grabber with many parties expressing interest regarding SCORE.

The international event which was officiated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Najib Tun Razak, was held in Sarawak for the first time since its inception.

This year’s WIEF – themed ‘Disruptive Change: Impact and Challenges’ – examines how disruptive technologies can change the world and enable policymakers and leaders from business and other institutions to respond.

Regional Corridor Development Authority’s (RECODA) Chief Executive Officer, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Wilson Baya Dandot was also a panelist during the Sarawak Focus session on the final day of  WIEF together with the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Deputy CEO Datuk N Rajendran.

RECODA among the exhibitors during SMIDEX 2017

Kuala Lumpur, 15-17 November 2017 – The Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA) was among the 316 exhibitors during the SME Corp’s SME Annual Showcase & Conference (SMIDEX) 2017 held at the new Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Center (MITEC).

The event brings together SMEs, Multinational Companies (MNCs), Government-linked companies (GLCs) and large-scale industries (LSIs) showcasing their capabilities and capacities in producing products, services and technologies for the global market.

The event displays a myriad of products and services that are aimed to highlight the facilities offered by various Ministries, Agencies, industry associations and financial institutions, leading to new business opportunities and awareness of available financing schemes.​

RECODA hosts SIPLC meeting at their new office

6 November 2017: The Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA) hosted the venue for the 8th Samalaju Industrial Park Liaison Committee meeting today at their new office.

The meeting chaired by Assistant Minister of Industries and Investments, YB Malcolm Mussen Lamoh, saw representatives from the government as well as investors from Samalaju meet to discuss on challenges and remedies to those issues.

Also present at the meeting was Samalaju Assemblyman YB Majang Ak Renggi.

During the meeting, RECODA’s Chief Executive Officer, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Wilson Baya Dandot stressed the importance of keeping a close relationship with the investors and with Samalaju being a “World Renowned” industrial park, efforts need to be made to ensure that needs of the investors are catered to.​
