The official opening of Sarawak’s first resort style business hotel the Samalaju Resort on the 18th of October 2016 is a powerful vote of confidence for the government’s development of the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy.

The 23 acre hotel set on the coast of Sarawak boasts breathtaking views of the South China Sea yet is within easy reach of the Samalaju Industrial Park.

The resort provides a home away from home for employees, contractors, visitors, investors and others visiting Samalaju for business or pleasure.
The opening of the resort was officiated by the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and CMS Group Managing Director, Datuk Richard Curtis.
The opening also witnessed the signing of two special agreements. The first agreement was between the Trustees of the Methodist Church in Sarawak while the second agreement was a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PMB Development Sdn Bhd, part of the Press Metal group, to enter into negotiations on the leasing of apartment units in Samalaju Eco Park.
