World Bank delegation briefed on SCORE

 A delegation from the World Bank was yesterday briefed on the latest progress of the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE).

Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA) Chief Executive Officer Tan Sri Datuk Amar Wilson Baya Dandot conducted the briefing for the four-member delegation at his office at the Old Legislative Assembly Building in Kuching.

The delegation was made up of World Bank Chief Economist for East Asia and Pacific Region, Dr Sudhir Shetty; Representative to Malaysia and Country Manager for Malaysia, East Asia and Pacific, Faris H. Hadad-Zervos; Lead Economist, Dr Julio E. Revilla; and Senior Economist, Rafael Munoz Moreno.

The briefing, which was one of the programmes lined up for the delegation’s two-day visit to the State, highlighted among others the various investment components of SCORE and updates on the infrastructure development within the Corridor.
